The procedure to change the payment method does not work

Hi there, erniesaavedra.


Thanks for reaching out to the Community about your concern. I have the steps to help you get back on track updating the payment method.


Let’s start by opening your account via private browsing or incognito mode. This session doesn’t store data and is a good place to start to isolate this unusual behavior. From there, change the payment information.

 

Here are the shortcut keys for each browser:

 

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox)
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P (Internet Explorer)
  • Press Command + Shift + N (Safari)

If you’re able to perform the task seamlessly, clear the cache of your regular browser. This process is just emptying the cache, so the next time you display a webpage, everything must be downloaded anew. However, if none of these suggestions work, I recommend you get in touch with our QBO Care Team. One of our agents can help update the payment method for you in a secure space.

 

  1. Tap the Help icon at the top to open the QB Assistant window.
  2. Select how you want to reach out to our support team: Ask a question or Talk to a human.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
