It's a pleasure to see you here in the Community, @carleighakrug.

Let me walk through the steps on how you can change your state unemployment insurance (SUI) tax rate in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

The steps on changing SUI tax rate will differ depending on which QuickBooks payroll subscription you're using.

For QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP), here's how:

1. Click the Gear icon at the top, then pick Payroll Settings under Your Company.
2. Choose State Tax or State Taxes under Taxes.
3. Scroll down to the State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) Setup section.
4. Enter the new rate and the Effective Date provided in the notice from your state.
5. Select OK.

If you're using Intuit Online Payroll (IOP), here's how:

1. Choose Setup, then Tax Setup.
2. Select State Tax Information, then find the tax rate you need to change.
3. Click Change or add new rate.
4. Enter the new rate and the Effective Date provided in the notice from your state.
5. Select OK.

On the other hand, if you're unable to see this option in your QBO, you might have subscribed to Intuit Full Service Payroll or QuickBooks Online Payroll Full Service. In this case, you need to contact our Phone Support Team to get assistance in updating your state unemployment rate.

To reach them, you may visit this article and scroll down to Intuit Full Service Payroll and QuickBooks Online Payroll Full Service section at the bottom for the most updated contact number: Enter or change state unemployment insurance (SUI) tax rates.

That should do it! Please let me know how it goes or I can be of additional assistance. I'm only a post away if you have follow-up questions. Take care and enjoy the rest of the day.
