Where can I make a complaint about the ***outrageously*** difficult process to log in to view a 1099 sent to me by a client?

A client sent me a 1099 link to my business email. I have had a Mint account on my personal email for years, but never used any other Intuit products. I was unable to log in or reset a password using either email or any password I've used in the past several years. I was also unable to create a new account on my business email. The only error message I got was "oops, something went wrong." I was texted a code ***7*** separate times. I am extremely frustrated and unhappy and will certainly NOT be recommending Quickbooks to anyone any time soon.

I want to make sure you'll be able to view the 1099 form that was sent to you, @jean13.

To help verify why you're unable to log in or create an account to see your 1099, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team using the QuickBooks Self-Employed Test Drive. They'll be able to provide details on what credentials needs to be used and reset the password for you.

Once you're already in the test drive, follow these steps to contact our support:

  1. Tap on the Assistant option at the top.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human" and send it.
  3. Just follow the instructions that will prompt afterward.

You may also see this link attached for more information about how to contact the QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.

In the meantime, to view your 1099 form, you may request a PDF file of 1099 from your vendor and have them send it to you via email.

For in-depth details about accessing your 1099s in QBSE, please check out this reference: Access your 1099 in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

You've got me here to help if there's anything else you need. Have a good one!
