Where do i find my state unemployment tax form to print for filing. I only see 1 form in archived filings and that is for the 2nd qtr 2020

Hi there, mkthoroughbreds.

The option to print the state unemployment form is in the same page where you can see the archived forms. Can you tell us what state you're in? Let me also share these steps on how you can print your tax form:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu and click Quarterly Forms under the Forms section.
  2. Look for the state unemployment tax form and click on it.
  3. Click View to open it.
  4. Review the details and make sure to provide all necessary information.
  5. Click the Print button in the upper-right hand corner.

I'd also like to share these articles with you for additional reference:

Thank you for joining the thread and adding a screenshot, @lvm483.

Let me help you in viewing your payroll tax forms so you can print and file them.

Before we start, can you verify with me the payroll subscription you're using? Any additional info would be much appreciated.

If you're using QuickBooks Online Payroll Enhanced, you can view your tax forms by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu and click Quarterly Forms under the Forms section.
  2. Look for the state unemployment tax form and click on it.
  3. Choose the form you want to file.
  4. Review the form to verify the info, and Submit when you're ready.

If you're using the Payroll Core, Premium, or Elite, and you chose to have us pay and file your federal and state payroll taxes for you, you can follow these steps to view their copies.

  1. Go to Taxes and select Payroll Tax.
  2. Click the Filings tab.
  3. Follow the on-screen steps to complete your tax filing.
  4. Select Archived forms and filings to view a copy of the forms after they've been filed.

These steps also apply if you're using the Full Service Payroll.

If you're unable to find the forms, you can run some basic troubleshooting steps to address the issue.

Sometimes too much cache build-up in a browser can cause unexpected behavior with the product. To clear this out, open your account in a private window. This mode doesn't record any activity on your local device. Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

If you're able to view them, then let's clear the cache in your web browser or try using a different supported browser. It could be a temporary issue with QuickBooks and the current browser that you use.

Additionally, you can run some payroll reports in QuickBooks. This way, you can get a closer look at your business's finances and view useful information about your business and employees.

Should you have any follow-up questions or concerns, don't hesitate to post again here in the Community or leave a comment on this thread. Take care and have a good one.

I too am having a problem locating my Unemployment Worksheet. There is no "Quarterly" or "Forms". This is what my selection looks like after selecting Taxes, Payroll Tax. I can see how much I need to pay but there's no form/worksheet like I normally would have. I can locate the 941 but that's all.

Thanks for joining the Community, ChadsCT. I appreciate your screenshot.

Since you're unable to locate the Unemployment Worksheet form on your Quarterly forms screen, I'd recommend checking the browser you're working with. It's possible this could have something to do with temporary internet files. Browsing applications store these types of records, but sometimes they can cause issues with certain webpages. You can open a private window and check to see if you're able to find your form.

Here's how to access incognito mode in some of the most commonly used web browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

If your form's displaying while browsing privately, it's safe to say this problem's being caused by the browser. It can be fixed by clearing cached data and Intuit-specific cookies.

In the event you still can't locate it while browsing in incognito mode, you'll initially want to try switching to another browsing application.

Here's a list of supported browsers:

  • Google Chrome - version 78 or newer
  • Mozilla Firefox - version 76 or newer
  • Microsoft Edge - version 75 or newer
  • Opera - version 68 or newer
  • Samsung - version 10 or newer
  • Safari - version 12 or newer

You can also check a browser's compatibility with QuickBooks by utilizing our browser health checkup tool. QuickBooks supports the current and two previous versions of browsers. If you find that you're using an unsupported version, make sure to update it to its latest release. Steps for doing so can be found on the particular company's website.

In the event you've found no problems that could be causing this with your browser, you'll want to check the operating system and internet speed you're working with.

Here's our supported operating systems and internet speeds:

  • Windows PC - Windows 10, Intel Core i3 or a comparable processor (2013 or newer) with at least 2 GB of RAM, or Windows 10, Intel Core i5 or comparable processor with at least 4 GB of RAM.
  • Mac - OS X El Capitan 10.11, OS X High Sierra 10.13, or newer.
  • Linux - QuickBooks works with Linux, but you'll want to make sure you're using a supported browser and our recommended internet speeds.
  • Internet connection - 1.5 Mbps to 3 Mbps or higher.

If you meet all of our system requirements, but are still unable to find your Unemployment Worksheet form, I'd recommend using a different device and/or internet connection. If you can't locate it while using other devices and internet connections, you'll want to get in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up the account in a secure environment, conduct further research, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.

They can be reached while you're signed in.

Here's how:

  1. Use the Help (?) icon.

  2. Click Contact Us.

  3. Enter a description of your situation in the What can we help you with? field, then hit Let's talk.

  4. Select Start messaging or Get a call.

Be sure to review their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.

I've also included a couple detailed resources about system requirements and accessing tax forms which may come in handy moving forward:
