Welcome and thanks for visiting the Community, @oppland.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can run either the Payroll Tax Payments or Payroll Tax Liability report to get a copy of the federal tax deposit. Once done, export it to Excel to convert it to a worksheet.

The steps to this are pretty quick. Here's how:

  1. In QBO, go to the Reports menu at the left pane to get to the Standard reports page.
  2. In the search field, type  Payroll Tax Payments or Payroll Tax Liability and select it in the drop-down to open.
  3. Click the Share drop-down at the top right and pick Export To Excel.

Just in case, I'll add this article for future reference: View and print payroll reports.

Where is the Federal Tax Deposit Worksheet? It does not show up today in the Payroll Tax Center after running payroll.

Hello,

Im not trying to create an excellent spreadsheet. Previously when I scheduled my Federal Tax Deposit, QB created a Federal Tax Deposit Worksheet with the information I needed to file The Federal Tax Deposit electronically. As of the 2/15 Deposit, the worksheet is missing. Do you know how it can be accessed now?

Thanks!
Danielle

Thanks for joining us here today, @Ransond.

Let's perform the browser troubleshooting steps to resolve this unexpected behavior. Open QBO using the incognito mode or a private browser. This browsing doesn’t store data and will help the page load without issues from temporary data.

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox).
  • Press Command + Shift + N (Safari).

After that, go back and check your federal tax deposit worksheet. Please refer to the steps provided by my colleague @FritzF. If it's working fine, you can clear the cache to start on a clean slate. This process helps the browser to fetch the latest version of the webpage and faster browsing experience.

If you're getting the same result, please contact our Payroll Support so we can investigate further. To reach out:

  1. Open your QBO account.
  2. Go to Help at the top.
  3. Scroll down and keep typing I still need a human until you reach the option to connect to one of our live support agents.
  4. Click Get help from a human.
  5. Choose either Chat with us or Have us call you.

Additionally, here's a link that covers all tasks you can do when using the payroll feature.

Keep me posted if you still have questions or concerns with the federal tax deposits. I'm always here to help. Take care and have a great day ahead.

Where is the Federal Tax Deposit Worksheet? It does not show up today in the Payroll Tax Center after running payroll.

I was having the same issue and I figured out how to get this worksheet to populate. Here's how I did it:

1. Go to Taxes - Payroll Taxes

2. Find the Federal Taxes (941/944) for the period you need

3. Hit the Pay button on the right

4. Verify everything is correct before hitting Record Payment

5. Once you record the payment a confirmation screen will pop-up - hit the View and Print Form button. This will pull up the Federal Tax Deposit Worksheet.

I couldn't find another way to get to this worksheet but this is what worked for me!
