The QuickBooks design has been updated! If this video doesn't match what you see in QuickBooks, use the in-app Search bar to navigate to the page you need.

Note: QuickBooks Online Accountant users may search the QuickBooks Business Network to find contacts or change network visibility within their clients' QuickBooks Online accounts. However, QuickBooks Online Accountant contact information (that is, the file labeled "Your Books") isn't published in the QuickBooks Business Network, so the search and visibility experience isn't available for this group of QuickBooks customers.

Overview of the QuickBooks Business Network

The QuickBooks Business Network is a platform that safely connects your business with your customers and vendors. After you’re connected with a customer, send invoices directly to their QuickBooks account. After you’re connected with a vendor, receive bills directly in your QuickBooks account.

First, you need to verify or update the contact information for your business. After you accept or receive a QuickBooks Business Network invitation, your connections can access your contact information. Next, find the customer or vendor you want to connect with in the QuickBooks Business Network database. Then, send them an invitation to connect with you. After they accept your invitation, you can share and receive invoices and bills directly.

The bills you receive through the QuickBooks Business Network are ready to review and pay. This means you won’t need to manually create bills.

If your connections make changes to their QuickBooks contact information, it'll stay updated within the network.

Note: QuickBooks Online Accountant users may search the QuickBooks Business Network to find contacts. They may also change the network visibility of their clients' accounts. However, QuickBooks Online Accountant contact information (the file labeled, "Your Books") isn't published in the QuickBooks Business Network. This means that visibility within the network isn’t available to this group of QuickBooks customers.
