Purchased Quickbooks Desktop Pro Plus with Payroll Enhanced 2022, will not install from download or disk, I have done everything Quickbooks suggest, spend 2-hrs with Tech, spend the morning with IT, confirming it was not a Windows or Computer issue. Was told that since it was purchase at retail store, disk would work for installation after Tech Support spend 2-hours directing me around computer. Any ideas?
During the process, did Support Register your QBDT2022?
If they did, go log into your camps account and see if it has shown up yet. You should be able to download another copy. And I'm surprised Support didn't try to download a new copy if the disk is defective. I'm guessing it's a disk problem if they didn't find that you didn't have enough memory or disk space.
What kind of error were you getting when you tried to install from the DVD? And what exactly did Support do that took 2 hours?
Tech tried the download, & support told me that since I purchased from retail, product code is not in my account. More than enough memory, 359 GBs of free space on C drive so that is not the issue. Tech viewed my screen and pointed and told me what to type attempting to install from downloaded copy. Checked all Window settings, firmwalls, etc. everything that is recommend when there are installation issues, which I had already tried. Used Quickbooks Tool Hub, error 1334 shows up when installing both disk and the downloaded version. Per IT, nothing wrong with Windows or Microsoft.NET
I'd like to share some information you're getting this error and how to fix it.
Error 1334 may be caused by a missing or damaged QuickBooks Desktop installation file or a corrupted .NET Framework when installing, updating, or repairing QuickBooks Desktop.
Depending on when you encountered the error, you can try one of the recommended solutions below.
If you get the error while launching or opening QuickBooks, please follow these steps:
If you get the error when updating or repairing QuickBooks, you'll need to clean install your QuickBooks Desktop.
If you get the error when installing QuickBooks, please see Repair or reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework for steps to resolve.

support told me that since I purchased from retail, product code is not in my account.
Which retail are they referring to? You should have access to your CAMPS as Primary Admin and find your license code there immediately. If the retailer doesn't help resolve it, you'll have to ask for a refund. You can also purchase a QB Desktop 2022 subscription license from a partner without a credit card. You should not ignore this license issue.
The Code should be on with the DVD. And if Support downloaded a fresh copy, KEEP that copy.
And Support should have confirmed this, but what version of Windows are you running? Also, where did you get the software? Online purchase or from a major known store? Extremely rare, but it's not totally unheard of to get a bogus disk online.
If you're comfortable with Windows, then I'd go through and Delete ALL QuickBooks and Intuit Folders. And if you're not, do you know someone that can do this for you? Obviously Reboot after you're done.
After everything is cleaned up, try loading QBs again from the file Support downloaded.
It was purchased in a local office supply store, that per QB confirmed it was a valid code, and disk. Since I don't have a prior QB account, the license there is no CAMPS account.
Thanks for all of the suggestions.
Hi there, @MACGM.
Let's get your concern taken care of so you can install QuickBooks Desktop on the computer.
The first thing we need to check is ensure the computer meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements for QuickBooks Desktop. I've added this article to guide you through: QuickBooks Desktop system requirements
Since you're not able to install the software even if the hard drive has enough memory, I'd recommend getting in contact with our Installation Team. They have additional tools, such as screen sharing, to look up the computer and software for possible reasons why the error message appears.
Here's how to get a specialist from our Installation Team:
For additional reference, you can check this article for the detailed steps on how to install QuickBooks Desktop.
You can always reach out to me if you have additional concerns about installing QuickBooks.
@MACGM this is a strange one.
Is there a IT/Computer tech you can reach out to? There's got to be something blocking the installation. I was thinking just some corrupt file (or even folder, though really rare) that kept messing up the installation. But it seems like someone really needs to look at more thing than QB/Intuit techs would.
My guess is it's something simple, but a good once over of your computer wouldn't be a bad ideal. Are you in an area where you think you could find someone?
