Join nowI am not sure you may able jumping from 2008 to 2020. Call and ask Intuit to convert your file for free. Otherwise, consider purchasing a 3rd party conversion service.
A difference of 3 sometimes 4 years is all that can handled by a new QB install
If you bought from intuit their data services will up grade the data file for free
Or call around to see if a consultant has 2011, 2014, & 2018 installed, if so and if they will help, make a back up, restore that back up in 2011, make another back up, restore that in 2014, etc etc
