Join nowI understand there is already a link on how to resolve the multi-user issues. My particular questions is: does anyone know of any script, batch file, PowerShell, that will automatically attempt to repair Quick Books, or attempt to resolve the H202 error without user innervation? My goal is automation, not a manual follow 15 steps kind of thing. But a scrip that preforms the resolve functions for me. Maybe something I can run periodically. There is a server I'm restarting daily to solve the H202 issue.
Any info is helpful! Thank you!

Another question,
What does restarting a server fully accomplish? By that I mean, what actually happens to quickbooks during the restart process? Normally a reboot solves the problems, which is great, but there must be an alternative steps instead of a full restart to solve the problem. Can you outline the design of a restart for me so I can automate something. Such as during a restart the following happens:

Allow me to share with you some insights about the restart process when fixing error H202 in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
First off, restarting your computer is only to make sure that all applications are closed and stopped running. This way, other applications won't interfere with QuickBooks.
Also, the restart process depends on the type of computer you have. Thus, we're unable to specify the sequence of things that take place while performing it.
