HI there,
I have QB Premiere 2020 at my server and I am trying to connect another workstation to the server to access the company files. I was able to do it up until about a month ago, I have tried several things with no success.
I checked the permissions and it seems to be fine, but I am just not getting access. Most of the time I get an error stating that "the name is already in use, connection could not be reestablished".
Could you please help?
Try creating a new user profile or use another user profile (from other workstation) to access from that workstation to isolate the issue.

I actually have 2 licenses, so I am trying to access it with the second profile, or the main one if it is not open on the server. The issue is the connections between computers, for some reason, the server is not allowing it, or the workstation is not finding the server...

First, please note that QuickBooks Desktop Pro is only limited to 3 users to work in a company file simultaneously. This could be the reason why the workstation is not finding the server. Check this article for more details: Add a user license to your QuickBooks software.
Also, let us make sure that your QuickBooks Desktop is updated so you'll have the latest patches and fixes installed. You can check the detailed steps in this article: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.
Once done, let's relaunch your QuickBooks Desktop by right-clicking the QuickBooks Desktop icon and selecting Run as administrator.
Lastly, check the server and see if there's enough space. You'll want to free up some space for a better experience.

Do you have a license for 2 users or 2 licenses for 1 user each?

I actually have 2 licenses with one user each.
If you are using any supported version (i.e QBD 2019-2022), chat Support and ask them to merge your license, Make sure you are able to access CAMPS as Primary Admin prior to contacting them. Otherwise, you can still purchase a new one time license for QBD 2021 Pro/Premier for 2 users via partners.
