Hello @dixieflying,
Let's remove your QuickBooks from the Programs and Features of your computer's Control Panel to uninstall it.
- Go to Start.
- Select Control Panel.
- Under Programs and Features, select Uninstall a Program.
- Click QuickBooks.
- Select Uninstall/Change.
- Click Remove.
Once completed, you'll have to prepare your computer in a selective startup before reinstalling the QuickBooks.
- Open the Run command or press Windows+R on your keyboard.
- Enter msconfig in the Search address.
- Select OK.
- Under General, select Selective startup.
- On the Services tab, select Hide all Microsoft Services.
- Click Disable all.
- Select Windows Installer.
- Restart your computer.
