Sorry took me a little while ti try with the holidays.
Yes! Incognito mode worked. Thank you.
Do you know why this would happen after working fine for so many years?
Thank you for the response.
Yes, Incognito mode worked!!!
Do you know why this would happen and be necessary after so many years?
Your browser’s cache saves files on your computer to load websites faster on your next visit. But over time, it also gets outdated which can cause issues.
Thank you for the reply.
I went through all the steps shown and restarted CHROME, but I still get the same result. It flashes quickly but will not open the Quickbooks for self employed page.
Tried all the steps, but Quickbooks for self-employed flashes quickly but will not open. Strange that it worked so many years and now will not
Thanks for letting us know about this, @bobalbertfamily.
I have more steps we can try. Since you've mentioned that QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) works with incognito, you'll want to proceed with clearing the cache and cookies of your regular browsing mode.
Please refer to this article for the step-by-step instruction: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.
You can also check our QBSE system requirements for best browsing experience. Here's the link: System requirements for QuickBooks Self-Employed.
In case you need help with other QBSE-related tasks, feel free to browse this link. It has our general QBSE topics with articles that'll guide you along: Browse all articles for QBSE.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me again if you still have questions or concerns with accessing your QBSE account. I'm always here for you. Take care and have a great day ahead.
Thank you for the reply, Shiella.
I tried all your suggestions, but the self-employed page will still not open when I hit sign in. It now only works in incognito mode. Strange...
I appreciate you taking the time to reach us back, bobalbertfamily.
Since the issue persists, I would suggest reaching out to our Technical Support Team to verify the main cause why QuickBooks won't open on a regular browser.
Here's how:
1. Select Assistant from the top bar.
2. Enter talk to a human in the search field.
3. Once an AI replies to you, enter once again talk to a human.
4. After it replies, click the I still need a human.
5. Choose either Message an agent or Get a callback.
For additional information, you can click this article: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support. This provides details on how you can contact QBSE support using iOS and Android phones.
Additionally, I've also included this reference for a compilation of articles you can use while working with us: Help Articles for QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Please let me know how it goes or if I can be of additional assistance. I'll be here should you have any follow-up questions. Have a great rest of the day!
