Older version of QB Point of Sale

Hello there, @elefthea. Let me route you to our available support so you can download Point of Sale (POS) 18 on your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Since POS 18 is no longer available for download on the Intuit Downloads & Updates page, I recommend reaching out to our customer support team so they can assist you in installing the program and recovering your transactions. However, please note that they are available Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM PT.

Additionally, you can run and customize reports in QBDT to get insights about your sales.

Thank you for your reply.  I did get a response from chat today but I was told that I cannot download older versions that I already paid for.  I asked to be put in touch with a supervisor or manager since this will not work for me.  Can I get someone who can help here?  Again, all I need is a download which i am quite positive QB could provide with 5 minutes of work.

I reached out to chat again and received a reply but not the information I need.  Again, to reiterate, I already paid for the programs and have the license.  I imagine it would take all of five minutes for someone to set up a link to the program.  What do I have to do to get the program that I already paid for?

I understand you have recently purchased Point of Sale (POS) v12, which was upgraded to POS v18. Rest assured, I'm here to assist you with a workaround and inform you of the QuickBooks POS discontinuation.

As of now, QuickBooks has already discontinued all versions of POS. Even QuickBooks Point of Sale 19.0 is no longer supported. You can still use the POS software, but Intuit will no longer support the product. Please be informed that security patch updates, payments, and connected services will no longer be available.

We also don't recommend buying QuickBooks POS from unknown sources, as they might be modified to steal information from your devices. QuickBooks currently doesn't have any link to download any versions of the POS software.
