Hello, ehalai.
Let me share some information about the QuickBooks Desktop discontinuation policy and upgrade.
QuickBooks Point of Sale version 18 is no longer supported. This is the reason the only available link is for version 19. You'll want to read this article to learn more about the policy and upgrade information: QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy and upgrade information.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions. I'm always happy to help.
Thankyou for your response. But the thing is that Intuit should provide the updates which were released prior to 10th August. In the intimation on the POS Screen intuit never said that they will discontinue the updates also which were released prior to that date.
That's insane. We own the product, we should be provided the already released updates.
Just spoke to a "supervisor" at QB and they will NO LONGER LET YOU RE INSTALL YOUR QUICKBOOKS V18 POS SOFTWARE! This is the absolute worst service issue I have ever seen. I have paid $7k for software and I cannot re install it after a hardware issue. One of our machines crashed and we needed to replace it but we cannot get our paid for software installed on it. They said our only option is to buy V19 and spend $5k more. I am absolutely going to make everyone in our county business leaders group know about Intuits stance on customers...
Did they ever resolve this or were you out the money?
