Importing Sales Orders from MAC to PC desktop

Hi,

I am moving my company file from PC QB Premiere 2019 to Mac desktop version.

Export/Import went without issues. But all of my Sales Orders I had created in the PC version imported as type "ANY" and shows up as a Purchase order?, in all of my customer transactions for some reason?

I use the Sales order when I send items to my customers and then convert them to invoices when I need to send them an invoice. I have thousands of Sales Orders that were all imported the same way. Is there a way to map these properly after the import?

I am having the same issue with all my inventory assemblies and I am not really sure to handle that either?

They are imported as non-inventory items so all of the inventory assemblies I have sold have not pulled the correct items from my inventory so all of my inventory is off by count. I know I have to use groups which will work. But still, all of my previous transactions are not correct inventorywise.

If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it!

Hi there,  dselberg.

There are a couple of features and types of data that won’t be converted when moving from Windows to Mac. This includes Sales order which is only available in Premier, Accountant, and Enterprise versions of QuickBooks for Windows. Assembly items are also converted into non-inventory part items.

A complete list of the types of data that will be converted and what isn't can be found here: Convert a QuickBooks for Windows file to QuickBooks for Mac

@dselberg

QB Mac has similar features compare to QB Pro. Should you need to keep using the features available in Premier edition, don't migrate to QB Mac. Run your QB Premier on Mac with Parlallels or put your license on an authorized QB cloud hosting provider.
