Join nowI had Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2017 on my work and home computer. My home computer just got coffee spilled on it and died. When I try to install a Quickbooks on my new computer it does not allow my license on there.
Is there a way to get it downloaded on my new computer without having to buy another license?
Thanks
Laurie
Do you have a license of QBD 2017 for 1 user or else? Make sure you have closed your QuickBooks on your other computer prior to reinstall it on the new one.
I have 1 user. The work program is closed. The other computer it was loaded on completely died. I can't even turn it on. Is there a way to transfer a license or inactivate one you are not using without having access to that computer?
Thanks

Try to shut down your office computer and reinstall again on your new home machine. You are allowed to install a license of QBD for 1 user on 2 machines as long as they are not running at the same time. If the same error persists, embrace yourself to uninstall QB on your office machine as the workaround and notice the difference.
have used quickbooks and turbotax since 2004

Hi there, gallupca.
Before we start, may I ask what error message you encountered when attempting to print? If possible, sharing a screenshot of the error or warning message would be helpful. Meanwhile, I'll provide information to assist you in resolving printing issues in QuickBooks Desktop.
There are several reasons why you're having issues printing in QuickBooks Desktop 2013 version. But we need to keep in mind that QuickBooks Desktop 2013 is an older version that may be incompatible with the most recent operating systems or printer drivers.
Be sure to check with your IT personnel to see if your printer is compatible with QuickBooks Desktop 2013. Some printers may require special settings or drivers in order to function properly with the software.
I'm adding the following resources as a reference for fixing printing issues:
