You can use Recurring Transactions or they have a beta in Labs, called Routines, where you can set yourself reminders and auto-send reminders for overdue invoices
Recurring transactions can set to “reminders” and established with a recurring date. For instance I set reminders for filing 1099’s by 1/31/20 and for filing non profit tax form 990 N by 11/15120 for next year.
I'm wanting to use this for reminder to do something not transaction related. I could create an imaginary journal entry that I don't ever really enter but just skip and go to next reminder. Any other thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks for the response, @CFOPres.

Thanks for your message, just noticed my previous message was missing a few words. Could you give me the name of the app?
Cheers.

This would be so cool! Instead of using a CRM just add that functionality to QB. I want a calendar reminder for customer files so my sales reps can follow up on leads, set tasks, follow up on shipping, delays, whatever. Just as simple as adding a tab next to the customer details tab that says CALENDAR. In there you can set dates, add notes and set a reminder.
OMG! If you guys could add a tab, in the customer file that says CALENDAR. In there a place to add dates, notes and reminders!! That would be awesome.
Or offer Full CRM functionality and not through an app
Yes please, Calendar under Customers is a great idea! Or anywhere in the software for that matter.

If you are running a field service business, consider an additional app to integrate with your QBO. It offers more specific features than a mere task management app.
