It seems that very little thought is given to the user interface when quickbooks was designed. So many obviously poor design choices were made. Is there a reason?

We're striving to provide the best features and services, Parani.

I'd like to ask what specific feature are you referring to. This way, I can raise your concern to our management team. Then, they will submit your feedback to our software engineers. We always appreciate our customers' insights and ideas since it will help us improve our product.

Moreover, some of our new updates come from our customers' feedback. The more request a feature has, the more likely it'll be added to the next update.

We'd love to hear from you soon. Have a good day!

At one time I used QB 2012 and was satisfied with it until I was forced to "upgrade".  I obtained QB2017 desktop.  The new form has extremely cramped data fields for BillTo and ShipTo addresses on Estimates and Invoices.  This was not the case in QB2012.  Why was it resized?  There is no shortage of screen real estate in the windows.

Hello there, Techineer.

This how our product engineers designed the Bill To and Ship To on the estimates and invoices. I'll be sending your feedback to our product engineers. The fields might be given a chance to be adjusted in the next product updates.

If you have other questions with the QBDesktop 2017, you can post them right away.
