I'm here to share some information about connecting bank accounts in QuickBooks Online.
It's possible that the CAD account is connected to your QuickBooks instead of a USD account. You can disconnect and reconnect with the right bank account. This way QuickBooks will download the appropriate information.
Here are the steps to disconnect your financial institution.
- Go to the Banking menu, then select Banking.
- Select the blue tile for your incorrect bank account.
- Select the pencil ✎ icon to edit the account, then select Edit account info.
- Put a checkmark on the Disconnect this account on the save checkbox.
- Select Save and close.

After you've downloaded the correct transactions from your financial institution, you can assign and categorize them to make sure your books are accurate.
