Quickbooks Online: Google Workspace / SAML SSO Config

Hi,

We need to integrate QuickBooks Online with existing Google Workspace accounts and configure SAML SSO.

I have tried to access the existing article "Sign-in with Google"  but it has no content.

Could someone please help me out with this?

Thanks and Regards,
Ashish

Quickbooks Online: Google Workspace / SAML SSO Config

I recognize the importance of integrating QuickBooks Online with your existing Google Workspace account, SaiAshish. I'll lay down the details about this.

Starting October 20, 2023, Intuit will no longer support Google Single Sign-On (SSO) to sign in to QuickBooks products. It's the reason why the article isn't working anymore.

It is recommended to create a new Intuit account or use an existing one to access your QuickBooks accounts. You can check out this article to change your email address, user ID, password, and other information: Update your Intuit Account sign-in information.

Additionally, I've added an article to help you keep your account safe and learn about the advanced security tools and systems: Secure your Intuit Account and prevent lockout with extra verification methods.

Please keep us posted if you need further assistance accessing your account or ensuring the security of your data. I'm always available to help you.

Thanks for getting back to the thread, @SaiAshish.

Let me join the conversation and provide further information about your follow-up questions.

Once you sign to QuickBooks Online, it uses two methods to verify your account. One is the Multi-factor authentication and the Two-step verification.

Intuit also supports OAuth and OIDC-based SSO. If you want to use Single Sign-on, I'd recommend sharing your concern on our Intuit Developer site. This way, Intuit developers can provide you with more details on how to set up the authorization flow when logging in to QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. Click on this link: https://help.developer.intuit.com/s/
  2. On the home page, select the QuickBooks Online tile.
  3. Press the Ask Question button.
  4. Log into your existing Intuit Developer Account or create a new one.
  5. Enter your concerns and click the Ask button.

For additional reference about Intuit's authentication methods, check out this article: Secure your Intuit Account and prevent lockout with extra verification methods.

You can always add a reply to this thread if you have further questions about accessing your QuickBooks account. We'll be here to help. Have a good one.
