QuickBooksDBXX Service Not Uninstalled

Recently we updated our version of QB Desktop. Long story short, we now have 2 QuickBooksDB services running. I thought that the old service would be uninstalled with the update, but maybe that is not the case. Now we have QBDB27 and QBDB30. Is it safe to disable the old service?

QuickBooksDBXX Service Not Uninstalled

Hi @BrianBeers,

If you're looking for a working link on the Clean install QuickBooks Desktop article, check out the link I provided.

In case you no longer have an install disc for your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) product, you can download it from this page: QuickBooks Desktop Downloads & Updates. You simply need to select the correct type and version for your product, and you can proceed.

Let me know if there's anything else I can assist you with about your QBDT installation process. Here in the Community, I've got you back.
