RPM file for Linux Server for Enterprise Version 17

I'm looking to help someone reinstall QuickBooks Enterprise 17.0. The files for the desktop application are easy enough to find, as are the Linux database server RPMs for versions 18 and higher, but the Linux database server RPM for version 17 doesn't seem anywhere to be found.

Am I missing something, or does somebody know the procedure for getting this file?

Don't waste your time to find it. We are not allowed to reinstall any outdated QBD Enterprise (i.e 2018 or older) since last year. You can try to install QBD 2018 to make sure.

I agree with our All-Star contributor, Erik Carlseen.

As of now, QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 21, 20, and 19 are the only supported versions. This could be the reason you're unable to see the Linux database server RPM for version 17. With this, I'd recommend upgrading QuickBooks to a newer version. I'll show you how.

  1. Go to Help and then Upgrade to Latest QuickBooks.Capture.PNG
  2. Select the version you want to upgrade to, then select Upgrade Now.
  3. You can keep a copy of your current version of QuickBooks.
  4. Select Keep old version on my computer, then select Let’s go.

For more details on the process, please see this article: Upgrade QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus, or Enterprise.

Additionally, I've included these articles that'll help you learn how the new features in the latest versions can benefit you and your business.

As always, I'm just around if you have other concerns about upgrading QuickBooks Desktop. Have a good one.

I see. We were sort of on the edge as to whether to continue using Quickbooks or move to another platform, so if Intuit is willing to be so petty as to withhold an install file then it doesn't seem to be a good fit. To be honest, most Quickbooks upgrades aren't even worth the hassle let alone the expense and labor.  Thanks for helping us with the decision, even if it's not in the way that you intended.
