Small menu Icons in my program

hello,

I am using QB Pro on my Dell XPS (2016)

Does anyone else have the issue of a very small menu bar?

I am not sure how to address this?

Hi BettyJaneB,

Thanks for the info. I am still having the same issue after going through all of the solutions. Is it because of the version of QB I am using?

It is QB Pro 2016

Thanks

Hello there, Nadia Alarakhia,

Allow me to chime in and help you get past this issue.

Technically, the 2016 version you're using should not cause any display issues as it is still a supported desktop edition. To get the best QuickBooks performance, you'll need to make sure it is updated and follows our recommended system requirements.

Here's the recommended screen resolution for QuickBooks Desktop 2016:

  • Display optimized for 1024 x 768 screen resolution or higher with up to 2 Extended monitors.
  • Best optimized for Default DPI setting (96 DPI or 100%).
  • Medium DPI (120 DPI or 110%) is supported to ensure an optimal experience for 110% scaling.

If you're still getting the same issue after verifying your display settings, I would suggest getting in touch with one of our phone support. They have the resources to help you configure your DPI settings in a secure environment.

Did you get your issue resolved?

Following up on some of the other comments, what is your monitor resolution currently set to?  And are you using a 4K monitor by any chance?

And I see your Dell is a 2016, what version of QBs are you using?
