Computer crashed and now I need to re-install QB 2007 and it will not take my license key
Hello @DancinBear,
Thank you for posting here in the Community. I can help you get in touch with the necessary support team for the non-supported product's registration.
We provide customer support for registration and licensing for older versions of QuickBooks Desktop under Intuit's standard terms and conditions. However, please note that we can only assist if the data is still available in the system.
We can't guarantee we'll be able to register, provide key codes, or offer data and password recovery for older versions of QuickBooks. You can call us using the contact information found in this link (scroll down to Why can't I install QuickBooks Desktop from an inactive subscription?): QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy and upgrade information.
For additional reference, I've attached a link you can visit to resolve errors when you enter product and license numbers in QuickBooks: Fix activation, license, and product numbers errors.
Keep me posted if you need more assistance with the QuickBooks registration or the installation. Have a great day.
Your QBD version is too old and I am not sure Support will help to resolve your licensing issue. Consider upgrading your data to QBD Desktop 2018-2021 with the one time license to lower your expense.
