Join nowFirst, the printer is not new but I had to replace my router. Second, when I print labels, the information prints fine but the barcade or the item codes are missing. Everything prints as before but these visual images do not. Third, they show up in the print preview, they just will not print when I try to actually print the label. The printer is a Brother 2550DW. I am running QB POS 18. What am I missing to make either of codes physically print?
Welcome aboard to the Community, @Kahanjm.
Let me help you fix the printing issue in QuickBooks Point of Sale.
There are several possible reasons why you're getting unusual results when printing the label. I suggest performing some troubleshooting steps you can try to get back on track.
Please review QuickBook's preferences and ensure you choose the right printer:
If the problem persists, I recommend you proceed with checking the Troubleshoot tag printer issues article. It contains detailed instructions you can follow in the order shown (proceed to Solution 3).
For additional information, I've attached an article about the printers supported by QuickBooks Point of Sale: What devices are compatible with QuickBooks Point of Sale?.

I figured it out. Its a resolution issue. Please make sure people understand that your code doesn't work at higher than 300dpi. This printers default is 1200dpi and its too high for QB POS18. I tried 600dpi and it would print the tag but no image of the barcode was printed, but when dropped the dpi to 300, it printed fine. Once I updated all my clients to default the printer to 300dpi, all worked fine.
