Thank you for posting here in the Community. I'd be glad to lend with any concern you may have about the validation code in QuickBooks Desktop, @31928789.

We normally send out the registration details through email. You'll want to check your inbox for the validation code. Alternatively, check out your CAMPS profile:

  1. Go to https://camps.intuit.com/.
  2. Choose your version under the Products & Services section.
  3. Click Details, then look for the validation code.

Also, you can get the validation code through our phone agents. They'll securely pull up your product registration details and generate a code for you.

Here's how to reach out to them:

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. From the Help menu, select QuickBooks Desktop Help
  3. Click the Contact us link.
  4. On the new page, select a topic (such as activate or installing QuickBooks).
  5. Scroll down and click the Start a message button.

For reference about contact us, you can check this article: Contact QuickBooks Desktop support. Aside from that, you can start a chat session with our representatives outside QuickBooks. You can use this link for reference: Contact Support.

After activating QuickBooks successfully, you can start setting up your company file. If you need help, we have several helpful articles to guide you through the processes.

Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns related to QuickBooks. The Community and I will always here to help you out.

@Airwave

You have to chat Support to ask the validation code. Make sure you are able to login into your CAMPS and find your license information in there. Otherwise they will decline to give the validation code.

Intuit and QuickBooks is the worst company to get Customer Service. You spend big bucks on software from them and they don’t have a telephone number to talk to for customer support. I called my stock broker today and I told him if I have intuit or QuickBooks stocks to dump it ASAP. Worst customer support I have ever been with in 37 years. I wish I could contact the President or CEO of Intuit.
