Validation code to register Quickbooks 2021

Thanks for the speedy reply. However, in the English language the word "speak" usually means using the voice to communicate with another human being who can hear you and also respond verbally. "Chat" on a website is not the same thing.

Also, when I followed the "Direct Chat Support" link, I got the same page that didn't work before. But I tried again, filled in the fields, and when I hit "Submit" I once again got a blank page at https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/live/engage/message. So this "solution" is not really a solution at all.

So I tried the "Quick Support Link" which took me to a page that informed me that "Small Business Answers and Information has moved". (In other words, you gave me a wrong link!) Nevertheless, I persisted. When I clicked on "Click here to go the new Small Business Answers and Information," I was invited to search through 583,376 articles. This is Intuit's definition of "quick"?

So here I am, back at square one. You have provided me with no help at all and, to use your phrase, I "continue to have issues."

Oh, and by the way, thanks to Intuit, I am NOT enjoying the day so far.

I want to make sure you're able to register your QuickBooks Mac account. There are two ways to activate your license, you can do it manually (without a validation code) or get the validation code from our representatives online.

To manually register the program, follow the steps below:

1. Open QuickBooks.
2. From the QuickBooks menu, select Register QuickBooks.
3. Enter the License and Product numbers, and select Next.
4. Select Register Online and follow the steps on the screen to complete your registration.

If you're still unable to register using the manual process, I highly recommend getting in touch with our representatives.

Thanks for the suggestion. I now seem to be registered, although I never saw any mention of the "validation code" I was asked for when I initially tried to register. It seems you have more than one route to registration, one of which doesn't work.

Another issue: To register I had to use my old office number, which I was lucky to remember. I have been retired since 2018 and the businnes is closed. Is there any way to update my phone information?

Let me walk you through updating the phone number on file. You need to access the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) to change the information.

The old number may have been used when you first purchase QuickBooks. Here's how to access the portal:

1. Go to camps.intuit.com.
2. Sign in with your Intuit Account info. Use the email address you've registered QuickBooks with. This could be different from what you use to sign in to your company file.
3. If you see multiple products to choose from, select QuickBooks Desktop for Mac to go to CAMPs.
4. Click Edit next to All Addresses or Phone.
5. Change the phone number.
   
   

If the email you used to register your product wasn't already connected with an Intuit Account, an account was automatically created for you. So you might need to claim that account if you've never signed in. Or you might need to merge accounts if you have multiple.

Here's what to do:

1. Select I forgot my user ID or password at the bottom of the CAMPs sign-in page.
2. If that doesn’t help, go back to camps.intuit.com and select Claim Account.
3. If you still need help, see Get help signing in to CAMPs.

The registration of the 2021 Quickbooks is impossible if you do not have access to the internet. In the past you called a telephone number gave the representative the license number and he in turn gave you a n authorization or a validation code. Now you call the number and a computer directs you to the internet to a page that has absolutly no useful information on it. This process is absurd!!!  I have been trying to get an authorization code for over an hour!  In the past when dealing with a live person the process took two minutes!!

Where can I go to talk to a live person?????

I have the same problem and it is impossible to get this validation code, it is telling me that I have 15 more times to enter without registering and after that what is going to happen? call the 800 number it is a computer that directs you to come to this page and then it is the same thing going around without getting this validation code. What is the problem? I paid in front for the Quickbooks 2021 and I can't get this number, really frustrating, but you can call and talk to somebody right away if you are buying.

Afaik, there is no option to access a recent QBD version without registering it at the end of the installation wizard. Can you share the screenshot of the message to make sure?

Intuit QuickBooks support sucks. I can't get a Validation Code to activate my product. You take my money to upgrade and then don't support me.

You should purchase the license thru a partner. They will deliver the license codes and the activation/validation codes in one package.

i have 3 license for quick books need validation code

What a joke, I have the same issue, every time I register my software it unregisters itself.  When I update it unreconciled my bank accounts.  Any one else ready to buy other accounting software?

What do you mean by "every time"? You only need to register/activate the license once when installing your license for the first time and you will find your license info in CAMPS.
