1099 Electronically filed thru QB, what does the status "In Agency" mean?

Welcome to the Community, @NickD85.

I'm here to assist you with your 1099 filing status inquiry. When your filing status is marked as InAgency, it means the IRS has received it and is currently processing or reviewing it. Please know that the acknowledgment takes several days.

Once the InAgency status changes to Accepted or Processed by the IRS, it indicates that the filing has been successfully received and is being reviewed.

Here's an article that can provide you with frequently asked questions about filing 1099s: Create and file 1099s with QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, if your 1099s need to be corrected, you can learn how to correct or change them.

Feel free to hit that reply button if you have further questions about 1099 filings with QuickBooks Online. We're always here to help you.
