Does InAgency status for 1099 mean the QUickbook 1099 service is waiting for the IRS?

1099 status shows the forms emailed and/or mailed to recipients, but recipients have not received them.

Does InAgency status for 1099 mean the QUickbook 1099 service is waiting for the IRS?

Let me share info about the In Agency status on your 1099 e-filing.

 

The In Agency status simply means the IRS has received your filing and is yet to be processed. We're unable to provide a specific timeframe for the acknowledgment. However, it does not impact filing deadlines or sending forms to recipients, as the IRS and state tax agencies set those.

 

Also, there will be a sure posting by the end of January since you e-file your 1099 form before the 28th of this month.
