The link you sent addresses QB for WINDOWS, not Mac. I've been all over the website and there is no direct answer to whether Mac 2020 works with Catalina. I'm posting here to get a clear answer.

Also, could you address the question of why the latest version is V.19.0.4 NOT V. 20?

Could you explain what I "support version" is?

When checking for an update, the message is: 

"QuickBooks 19.0.4.856 R5 is currently the newest version available."

As of now, QuickBooks 19.0.4.856 R5 is the newest release. The 20.0 version is not yet launched. This R5 update (19.0.4.856) includes changes in the following areas:
