940 form

Welcome to the Community, and thank you for taking the time to post. In this article, I'll share some updates about when Form 940 will be available in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

As of now, Form 940 is not yet available in QBDT. We're unable to specify when these forms will be available within the first week of January 2022. We'll keep you updated with its availability through email or in-app notifications.

Once the form is available, you need to update your tax table to its current release.

Here's how to do it:

1. In QBDT, go to the Employees menu at the top.
2. Select Get Payroll Updates.
3. Click the Download Entire Update checkbox.
4. Tick Download Latest Update.
5. A window appears when the download is complete.
