Good job moving the items to the correct bin location, tblanco. This time, I would like to explain how transferring items to other bin locations works in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
Currently, when you transfer an item to another bin location, it will still appear in the previous bin location but will show as 0, and the option to remove it is not available. This is designed to keep a record of the item transfers for tracking purposes.
While the option you're looking for is unavailable, I recommend submitting feedback to our Product Development Team. They review all feedback to better meet the needs of our customers.

Hello there, @tblanco. To correct an item's placement in an incorrect Bin Location, we'll need to transfer it to the right location. I'm here to guide you through the process to make it straightforward and easy for you.
Here's how to do it:
3. Next, enter the necessary details such as the Date, Reference No., Class, and specify the Transfer from and Transfer to locations. Then click Find & Select Items.
4. From the drop-down menu, locate and select the correct item. Put a checkmark next to it and then click Add Selected Items
5. In the Transfer Inventory window, select the correct current location in the From Bin column and choose the appropriate destination in the Transfer to Bin option.
6.Type in the quantity that needs to be transferred
7. Hit Save and Close to complete the process.
To ensure the transfer has been executed correctly, go to the Reports menu, then select Inventory and choose Items by Bin Location. Ensure to include the Bin Location in the column option by customizing the report.
