Can;t log into 1099 efile service

I logged into the 1099 efile service website last night and started my 1099s. Today I cannot log in. I reset my password and when I log in it just goes back to the log in screen again. No error messages, etc. I tried multiple browsers and have the same issue. Is the service down?

Since you've already tried resetting your password and using other browsers when trying to log in to your account, then I suggest reaching out to our Customer Support team to help you log in to your account. 

 

You can reach our Customer Support for 1099 E-File Service through chat by going to this link: Contact Payroll Support. They're available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (PST).

I have the same issue. Keeps looping back to the log-in after two-factor authentication. Tried different browsers. Cleared cache. Reset password. Still the same issue. Cannot access 1099 form service in order to transmit to government.

I appreciate you performing some troubleshooting steps so you can log into the 1099 Standalone account, jameswparker51.

 

Let me provide one more step to isolate this issue. You can start by logging into the account using other supported browsers and submit the form from there.

 

If you're still unable to sign into the account, I recommend chatting our Live Support this Monday to report the issue. They can create a case for further investigation.

Once you're able to access your 1099 account, you can start preparing your data through this link: File 1099-MISC forms using e-file service (standalone).

I can log into Intuit using the same credentials, just not the 1099 service. I tried three different browsers on two different computers, with the same (failing) results. I also posted this reply to my own post. For some reason the community forum doesn't thread properly, either. I am so over Intuit.

Can;t log into 1099 efile service

This has been an ongoing issue since February 1, 2021, I had to contact chat and attempt to trouble shoot for 8 hours on a Saturday.  The service was not reliable now it appears that my login information has disappeared and now I cannot login to view the 1099's already submitted.  I had to write a letter because I was told that there was no customer service for 1099 service.  The chat service ended with "we cannot assist you"

I looked into our records and there's no reported investigation about this case. If you already perform the troubleshooting steps provided above and still get the same result, I encourage you to contact our support team again. They have advance tools to do a screen share to investigate the root cause of the problem.

Can;t log into 1099 efile service

I was just chatting with Angelo this morning.  You may confirm the several attempts of me trying to get help (including having to write a letter to customer service) with the email address I sought help for. The account (other than not being able to access prior 1099’s, now show it has been deactivated) and it scares me that all my data has disappeared.  After the chat assistants telling me that phone service for all intuit 1099 was down to covid and that chat was the only option and then proceeded to tell me their “back up team” was also unable to help me, so I had to resort to writing a letter and delivering by mail.
