Column size cannot be adjusted in estimates. The column for "amount" is huge and I've changed it in settings. It's embarrassing and unprofessional looking.

After saving the changes it reverts to a huge "amount" column and tiny descriptions.

Thanks for taking the time to reached out to us. Let me help and guide you on how to adjust the estimates column size in QuickBooks Online. 

 

You have an option to customize the estimates template so you can adjust the description and column size of the amount. To do this, let me walk you through the steps: 

  1. Click the Plus (+) icon.
  2. Go to Custom Form Style.
  3. Select the New Style drop-down arrow, and  choose Estimate
  4. Click Content
  5. Select the Activity pencil icon
  6. Click Edit Labels and widths.
  7. Make sure to put a check mark both Description and Amount so you can adjust the sizes. 
  8. Click Done to apply the changes.
