Company address city is not populated in QB desktop

City is not populated in QB Desktop

My Company -- Company Information leaves out City. So invoices do not have City

Don't see how to edit a company's address, phones or eMail

Help runs you to

Customer Account Management Portal
This is my information which has city, phones & eMail correctly
This company data is the same name as my Intuit account information but it is not the only company in the QB desktop program.
Regardless: Intuit has the complete company info but it is not populating in the QB Desktop company file
Thanks

Company address city is not populated in QB desktop

Hello there, @Lan1947.

Good to see you here in the Community. I can help ensure you're company information will be populated in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

To get started, let's update the program to the latest release. By doing so, it will help download the latest features within the software.

Once updated, let's go to the Company settings and check your information from there. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Company menu at the top.
  2. Select My Company.
  3. Click the Edit (pencil) icon at the upper right of the My Company page.
  4. In the Company Information window, make any necessary changes.
  5. Click OK.

Refer to this article for additional information about updating company information in QBDT: Update your business name and address for QuickBooks.

However, if the issues persist, I recommend running the Verify/Rebuild tool. This helps identify the most commonly known data issues within the file and resolves it.

Before we begin with the troubleshooting, let's secure a backup of your company file. Once done, we can proceed to verifying and rebuilding your data in QuickBooks Desktop.

Here's how:

  1. Click on File at the top menu bar.
  2. Select on Utilities.
  3. Click on Rebuild Data.
  4. Select OK when you see Rebuild has completed.

After that, you can proceed with verifying the data:

  1. Click on File.
  2. Select on Utilities.
  3. Click on Verify Data.
  4. If you see QuickBooks detected no problem with your data, select OK. You may continue using your company file.
