Compare QB Desktop Pro and QB Online

One QBO account is for one company file. You should stay with QB Desktop. Why do you consider switching to QB Online?

Was considering online just for the convenience and flexibility.  Based on your response, the online version would be much more expensive for me.  Thank you so much for your reply.

Let me add more details about your concern in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Beforehand, I'd like to know if the database you're referring to is a company file.

If so, then I agree with 4gal. The option to do it is unavailable, QBO only allows one company per subscription. This means each company you create will have its subscription to have a different QBO account for each different company.

Additionally, if you're managing data from regions or departments of the same company, QBO offers a location-tracking feature.
