Current Availability button on Quotes, POs, etc.

That little button that is supposed to be helpful by giving quick access to the availability of a part you are entering into a quote is actually a true annoyance!  It is constantly blocking out the QTY field, making changing the quantity difficult.  How can I disable it?  I've added a picture of the button in case my description doesn't help.

I understand the relevance of streamlined processes within the program. The Current Availability icon will display if you select an Inventory Part item in your quotes or purchase orders. Currently, the option to disable it in QuickBooks Desktop is unavailable. You can submit a feature request to our software engineers so they may consider including this functionality in future product upgrades. 

 

To send feedback:

 

  1. Click on Help, then select the Send Feedback Online option.
  2. Tap on Select the Product Suggestion. A pop-up window will appear.
  3. Enter your feedback suggestion.
  4. Hit on the Send Feedback button. 

 

In the meantime, to avoid blocking the quantity, you can adjust the column width of the Quantity field. You can refer to the screenshot below:

 

Furthermore, visit this article to learn how to email sales forms, invoices, and statements to your customers. You can send them individually or as a batch.

Sending in a feature request gets me nowhere.  There are so many easy features that could be added to make the product suck less, but the only answer I ever seem to get is, "Oopsie!  We can't do that."

 

In any case, thank you for confirming that it can't be done so that I can cease wasting time looking for it.
