Database server manager is unable to scan folders Quick Books Desktop Enterprise 20.0

Database server manager is unable to scan folders Quick Books Desktop Enterprise 20.0, I have installed QB on windows server 

 

I have already enabled hosting and multi user mode. but still it is saying "host mode is off"

 

I have also tried to change the company file location in new folder but still same issue

Company files can be easily accessed from the host system or server system through QuickBooks. To be able to scan folders in QuickBooks, check the following requirements below:

 

  • Windows File permissions: The user who is logged in must have permissions set to Full control, which includes permission to look at, open, and modify the file.
  • Database Server mode: The database server can successfully open the company file.
  • QuickBooks User login: Each user must have a QuickBooks user login and password.

I am curious about which update you are running. I too am having lots of trouble related to the Database Service Manager, and SQL Server (and I don't need/want multi-user hosting!) This problem began just last week, around the same time as your post and I suspect it has something to do with the R7 release.

I've been a Pro-Advisor for over 10 years.  I  am very familiar with Quickbooks, just never posted in the forums.
