Deleted entries on banking and payroll

Getting data deletion on several customer files, around the last week of May we found that some data entries on banking and payroll were not showing on the client file, after the first customer file another 12 are affected by this, and around that time QuickBooks was crashing often and I was thinking that and update on windows was to blame for it, so we run the updates on Quickbooks and the crash was less often, still many client files when we go to do the current pay period are missing the previous payroll, not showing on the employee report either and also some files are missing entries for expenses on banking, after updating Quickbooks, tried to fix the program like 5 times with no effect to solve the problem, then uninstalled  and reinstalled 5 times already does not help, I try to talk to support but they are not able to find a problem and I’m sure they think I’m just stupid or don’t know how to use Quickbooks, and just keep trying to “educate me” last time talked to a level 2 person and he said that unless I can give exact time of the deletion of the data they can help, but how I’m going to do that? Like open and close 24/7 the file to find out what date and time the data gets deleted? Yesterday we did the payroll of a client over a remote control since he likes to keep it on his pc, in that file the create checks screen was showing that last week's paychecks were not done but the employee screen was showing the payment, is just not making any sense and I was thinking the problem was windows 11.

Right now I’m sure other people are having the same issue and will like to try to get the issue resolved maybe with more information we can find a solution.

Deleted entries on banking and payroll

Good to see you here in the Community, @aorozco66.

I appreciate you for sharing the details with us. I'd be happy to assist you in resolving this problem so you can manage your transactions in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Let's begin by updating the latest release of QuickBooks Desktop. By doing this, we can make sure the program has the most recent updates and fixes.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  3. Go to the Update Now tab.
  4. Click Get Updates to start the download.
  5. When the download finishes, restart QuickBooks.
  6. Accept the option to install the new release when prompted.

Once done, let's run the Verify and rebuild tools. Any data problems in your company file will be found by Verify Data. The Rebuild tool will then automatically resolve it. Check this link for the steps: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.

We can investigate the file more closely if the issue persists. However, the resources necessary to accomplish this are under our Data Services Team. I recommend getting in touch with them once again to help recover the missing data.

To reach them, you can do so via Chat. Their operation hours are 7 AM PT to 5 PM PT Monday - Friday.
