Does anyone know why the Power BI online scheduled refresh no longer works? Seems like an authentication issue with the QuickBooks Online (Beta) connector

We've been using the built-in Quickbooks connector in Power Bi to import data from Quickbooks for reports. We then upload them to our Power Bi workspace online so they can automatically refresh.

This has been working fine for months now, but last week suddenly started receiving errors on the online workspace preventing us from automatically refreshing. Power Bi Desktop still connects to Quickbooks and refreshes without issue so we're able to confirm our credentials are definitely still working and there's been no changes in either of our accounts. 

We've already been in contact with Microsoft and they suspect some sort of an authentication issue with the driver. I just want to ask around and see if anyone else uses this connector and has any ideas as to what's happening or if there's anything we can do about it.

After verifying that Power BI can still connect to QuickBooks and refresh without any problems, it appears that everything is working as expected. I recommend contacting Microsoft again, as your concern is regarding Power BI functionality.

I appreciate the response. I have already contacted Microsoft and they were not able to help. If you review the below link this issue started recently and seems like affecting multiple users. It also appears that Microsoft and QB pointing at each another. It would be nice if someone would be able to see the different requests users have opened and connect the dots.

Has this been fixed? I'm running to the same problem where I cannot schedule a refresh of my PowerBI report. The report can be manually refreshed just fine, however, setting up an automated refresh fails with an authentication error.

I understand you've been experiencing the same issue with the Microsoft Power BI report. I suggest contacting the third-party application provider or Microsoft support since this has something to do with the integration.

 

Also, the transactions that sync into your QuickBooks depend on the transactions shared by the third-party app. One of them will be able to guide and walk you through the process:
