Emailing invoices, Incorrect credentials or gmail settings

Hello there, SpecialDragons.

When you receive a message about an incorrect email, password, or credentials when emailing invoices, you'll need to check certain settings so nothing blocks the process. Let me provide the steps to ensure you can email the invoice efficiently.

To start with, you'll need to update QuickBooks to the latest release. Then, email a test transaction to yourself.

If the issue persists, I recommend reviewing your settings and filter preferences on your online email service. These may be blocking your emails from QuickBooks by accident.

Here's how:

  1. Check your app preferences and follow the steps to enable access for less secure apps.
  2. You can also set access preferences for specific apps, such as QuickBooks.
  3. Go back into QuickBooks and email yourself a test entry.

If you're still unable to send emails, you can turn off the 2-Step Verification feature for your Gmail account. Please note that this turns it off for all apps, not just QuickBooks.

When you're done, you can refer to this article on how to check your antivirus settings that might block the connection: Fix webmail password issues in QuickBooks Desktop

In case you need guidelines on how to apply a discount for early payment from a customer, you can read this article: Record an invoice payment.

Let me know if there's anything else you need help with emailing invoices in QBTD, SpecialDragons. I'm always here to help you anytime. Take care and keep safe!
