We're trying to ship FedEx through QuickBooks. We found that when we select Ground, it automatically gets switched to Home delivery. Since we are shipping to a home address this makes sense. However, the way our account is setup, if we choose Ground instead of Home delivery, the cost is about $7.50 less per package. Has anyone experienced the system not switching your selection from Ground to Home delivery through QuickBooks/FedEx?
Thanks for reaching out to the Community, Dytrt.
I recognize the importance of being able to select the correct option when shipping packages.
We’ll have to identify the root cause of why the system doesn’t switch from Ground to Home delivery. The process requires us to collate personal data to access your account.
We always maintain the safety of our customers’ information. That said, I recommend you get in touch with our Technical Support Team.

Hi Rasa-LilaM,
No, we've still not received an answer that will help us.
Thank you for the update, @Dytrt.
I want to make sure your concern is taken care of a quickly as possible.
To get started, you can refresh FedEx Shipping Manager or redo its setup. Then, recreate the shipment to isolate the issue.
If the same thing happens, I would recommend getting in touch with FedEx Support. This way, a representative can check this further and set up the correct delivery method.

Hello,
Our FedEx manager introduced us to FedEx One Rate. But, when using QuickBooks FedEx Shipping Manager this option doesn't appear. How to set it up please?
Thank you.

Hello,
Our FedEx representative introduced us to FedEx One Rate.
How to set it up in QB FedEx Shipping Manager as these One Rate envelopes and Boxes do not appear in the pull-down?
Thank you for your help,
Best
Philipp
Hi there, @plh212. Let me shed some light on the shipping manager in QuickBooks Desktop.
The FedEx Shipping Manager within QuickBooks provides specific shipping options to choose from. Currently, adding one rate isn't possible. In the meantime, you can consider exploring our QuickBooks Desktop Marketplace as an alternative solution. It offers a wide selection of third-party apps that can help you streamline your workflow and meet your business needs.
For future reference, you can visit these resources as a guide in handling your sales forms and shipping manager:

Hi,
Your message center allow us to click on reply without login first... so you compose your reply and when you hit "Post" it brings you to login... and in the process your reply vanished! Not customer friendly! You should be required to login first and "Reply" should be greyed out.
You stated that One rate is currently not available on QB... does it mean Intuit intend to add these shipping options sometimes. It doesn't make much sense to offer FedEx as a shipper with only a limited shipping options available. I search the QB Marketplace and could not find an add-on that would provide shipping labels for both FedEx and USPS (the two we currently using).
Thank you for your help.

I hear your sentiments, plh212. Let me chime in and share additional details about the shipping options in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
We aim to provide you with a convenient experience while using QuickBooks for all your tasks. However, please note that QB FedEx Shipping Manager only offers specific shipping options, and adding one rate isn't possible. I understand that this feature would be beneficial to you. I suggest submitting a feature request to our software engineers. Rest assured, our engineers will carefully analyze the input received and may consider including this functionality in future product upgrades.
