Financial Exchange POS to Desktop

After installing the pin pad (Ingencio 5000) along with all drivers and making sure all other settings were correct, when I closed out at the end of the first day of using the QB Payments, none of our sales or payments showed up in Quickbooks after the financial exchange, even our cash sales. Is this a known issue? How can I fix it? Now that I've read a few other peoples' comments on the Ingencio 5000, should I switch to the older model? Is it an issue specific to the 5000? (Intuit had sent me the older model initially, then the newer one a week or two later.) Thanks.

Financial Exchange POS to Desktop

I'm here, Sfhemp. Let me help you resolve this.

The PIN pad is a supported device. Some transactions don't appear in QuickBooks Desktop after the financial exchange. These are the causes:

  • A backup was restored in the Desktop version after the financial exchange.
  • QuickBooks Desktop transactions are deleted manually.
  • A different Desktop company file was opened.

We have different steps to fix it. Feel free to check this article to help you: Point of Sale transactions are missing in QuickBooks Desktop after a financial exchange.
