Fraud- on google using Quickbooks name

Hi Everyone,

Last night I was notified by my credit union that someone has been trying to access my bank accounts, yesterday and early this morning. Due to those suspicious activities my credit union locked my account. In the process of trying to reconnect my account I had to call Intuit. Do not use google to find Quickbooks customer service number. The number i called was 866-443-1930. This is fraud. The man accessed my computer and talked about how account is corrupted and its $1489 to fix it and it will take 2 to 3 hours. I told him first off you did not verify any information regarding my Intuit account, yet he gave me Quickbooks phone number which was actually valid.

Please be very careful and if you need help. Click on the help tab in your account and have Quickbooks call you or chat with you. It is much safer than looking for the number in Google. It will save you unnecessary expense and being paranoid.

Looking out for all.

Fraud- on google using Quickbooks name

I appreciate you for giving us a heads up, Kimberly_straughan.

It's a good job not to provide them any information, like your bank account. They are indeed fraud since they didn't even ask for account verification.
