I want to get rid of ALL the marketing popups, offers for 50% off, and more; I purchased QuickBooks Online not "Advertise Other Intuit or QuickBook Offers" online.
Is there any way to do this without training my ad blocker to ALSO block parts of the QuickBooks Online site?

Hi there.
I'm here to provide you with some information on how to disable pop-up advertisements in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
These notifications suggest and guide you on how to improve your QuickBooks experience. I understand that these ads may affect your navigation, but at present, the option to disable them permanently is unavailable.
However, you can ignore them by clicking the X icon or the "No, thanks!" button. QuickBooks will then turn off the ads and remember your choice so that the pop-up won't show up again.
Alternatively, you can enable the pop-up blocker of your browser to prevent them from showing up.
For Google Chrome and Mozilla browsers here's how:
For the Safari browser, you can follow these steps:
I also suggest sending your feedback to our Product Developer team. By doing so, they can review and consider adding it in future updates.
Lastly, you can check out more tips and resources while working with QuickBooks in the future from this link: Learn about QuickBooks Online with how-to videos.
If you have any other questions about your QBO account, feel free to reply, I'll be here ready to assist you. Keep safe and wishing you continued success!

I have the same problem, but WORSE! I generally use the desktop app, not the browser version. These popups and surveys interfere with my work even on the app.
Furthermore, they are formatted such that the "X" at the top of the window is off screen, so I can't close them!! I have to go to the browser just to get work done! this is not acceptable!
At the moment, there is no available option to block pop-ups in the QuickBooks Online Desktop app, @financeteam1.
As an alternative, you can adjust your screen resolution to 1024x768 or higher and set the dots-per-inch (DPI) to "Normal" or "100%" or ensure the app is in full screen mode while working so that the X icon is fully visible for closing the pop-ups.
In the meantime, we encourage you to submit your request to our software engineers using the feedback option. Here’s how:

You can monitor the status of your request by going to our Feedback forum page. This site allows you to stay updated on your submission's progress and engage with other users who might have similar interests or concerns.
QuickBooks continuously updates and enhances its features. Watch for future updates that might include this capability. If you have any further concerns in your QuickBooks Online Desktop app, feel free to reply below, and I'll keep the thread open.
This is a non-answer.
They have been providing the same answer on Quickbooks Online for pretty much any and all complaints. This specific issue has complaints going back at least to 2020.
They have no intention of solving this issue, from a marketing standpoint, this is a feature to get some unsuspecting user to embed themselves deeper into the Intuit web of endless increased accounting costs.
The disconnect is we think of software as a tool to conduct our businesses, Intuit thinks of software as a means to raid our wallets.
Once you are in bed with certain software to run your business, it is hard to get a divorce. Large companies can employ their IT department to find a different solution, small businesses don't have the resources.
Can you imagine a company utilizing Oracle, and having these popups and suggestions to purchase more modules showing up on the screen of an employee trying to enter data? Of course not, no real software company would do such a thing. You don't see Microsoft, as bad as they are, having popups show up to try to get you to purchase upgrades? They have a simple method to turn off suggestions for experienced users.
The Intuit business model seems to be similar to some of these apps for games on your phone I see advertised on television today. Question is, would you trust any of those people with your company data, why should we trust Intuit?
First off, this shouldn't even be a thing. If we were on some free plan, sure, I get it. However, I'm paying nearly $200/month for your service and I shouldn't be harassed on a daily basis with no way to opt out.
Secondly, your suggestion of closing the ads and "QuickBooks will then turn off the ads and remember your choice so that the pop-up won't show up again" is simply wrong.
Here is a screenshot of what I see when going to my Expenses & Bills > Expense Transactions:
I click the X at the upper right and it goes away....GREAT!
But then if I simply refresh the page, it instantly returns! No matter how many times I remove it, or any other ad, popup, prompt, banner ad, etc....they ALWAYS COME RIGHT BACK! It's like a plague and your recommendation is simply incorrect.
Yes, I've already submitted feedback....over, and over, and over for the last 2 years. Intuit doesn't seem to care so unless your dev team actually listens to everyone's feedback and stops harassing us with your ads in a service we are paying a premium for already, then I'll be on my way to Xero.
Yep, agreed. They dont care....I'm going to try out Xero, Wave, and FreshBooks to see which is best because I'm totally over Intuit's nonsense.
I've seen some talk about Zoho Books but I used to use Zoho CRM many years ago and it was SLOPPY BAD...full of bugs, no documentation, mediocre support, etc. A few years ago I tried Zoho CRM again to see if they've improved and literally the same slop. So I personally am staying away from anything Zoho but I know Xero and FreshBooks are pretty solid alternatives. Need to look more into Wave.
