Buy nowHi there, @mattlaguardia. I'm here to help you transfer your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) data to TurboTax.
To start, let's first review your tax checklist in your QBSE account. Here's how:
Once done, you can now proceed in sending the data:
For reference about the process, check out this article: Send QuickBooks Self-Employed tax info to TurboTax Self-Employed or Live.
In case you encounter difficulties when transferring the data, feel free to visit this article for fixes: QuickBooks Self-Employed data won't transfer to TurboTax Self-Employed.
I've also attached this helpful resource that you can use as a guide in preparing your taxes: Annual tax guide.
I'm just around the corner to help in case you have any other concerns about transferring QBSE data to TurboTax. I'd be happy to provide additional help. Have a good day ahead and take care.
Hello, and thank you for the reply.
I read through the instructions covering the process. Unfortunately my account does not show any link labeled "Tax Checklist". See the attached screenshot--I can only upload one, so I chose the mobile app. I can export files as excel, but nothing else. What am I missing?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for providing the screenshot, mattlaguardia.
The Tax Checklist button is located at the upper part of the page in your QuickBooks Self-Employed account. You may have experienced some browser issues that result in this unexpected behavior. Let's run some troubleshooting steps to fix it.
Before we proceed, please ensure you're logged in only to your QBSE account. Then, you access your account using an incognito window. Here are the shortcut keys to quickly open it:
Go back to your normal browser if you can see the checklist. After that, clear the cache to remove outdated internet files to refresh the system.
If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Self-Employed Support. They have the tools to pull up your account and further investigate the root cause of this.
I'll be around to help you if you have further questions or concerns. Have a great day.
