I appreciate you taking all the steps to link your online bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Allow me to assist you further in linking your bank.
In the meantime, I suggest using a private window, which doesn't store temporary files. Sometimes, QuickBooks can have browser issues due to poor configuration. Browsers use cache and cookies to load web pages faster on subsequent visits, but this can occasionally result in unexpected behavior that impacts the views and performance of QuickBooks Online (QBO).
To open an incognito window, you can use the following keyboard shortcuts:
If it works, you can clear Intuit-specific cookies. This helps to refresh website preferences that may be causing problems when using QBO.
Proceed with the following steps:
See this link for more details: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues using QuickBooks Online.
If you continue to experience the same result, I suggest utilizing other supported browsers. This will help us identify if the issue is specific to your current browser.

I am having the same issue. It is very frustrating. I have been trying to figure it out for hours.I’ve tried doing it on the app as well. At first, I wasn’t even getting an error message. I would sign into my Venmo account, put in the code they texted to me, my account would pop up and quick books asked me to select the account and type of account and then my screen would go gray and it wouldn’t let me click the button to connect. Then it started saying can’t connect with Venmo try later. Now finally…FINALLY…it tells me it connected, says importing data and then all set but low and behold, no transactions! Only shows the account name and what the balance is. All of my client payments have been through Venmo and I didn’t transfer them all to my checking account so this software is useless to me and i want a refund!
I understand how this situation affects your business, Christine. Please know this isn’t what we want you to experience when using the program.
