Basically, I like being able to see all my past monthly numbers (Money In and Money Out), but I cannot work with the predictions. They are very different than what I know my numbers will actually be, and it's far from helpful to see projected numbers for my current month , instead of the true, factual numbers.
How can I turn off Cash Flow Planner projections in QBO? Nothing changes when I go to Quickbooks Labs and turn off the entire feature, and I can't get ahold of someone on chat or via phone who can help me.
Hello there, @lightningbuginc.
Currently, we're unable to turn off the cash flow graphs on your dashboard in QuickBooks Online (QBO). QuickBooks would like to ensure that you'll be able to see how your business's financial data is running.
I know that being able to customize your dashboard will be convenient for you in organizing your data. I'd like to inform you that your developers are collecting and considering new functions to be added to the system to meet our customer's needs.
Moreover, to get the latest updates about product news and features in QBO. You can visit our QuickBooks blog. This site includes several topics such as accountant advice and what's new in QBO.

Hi Maybelle,
Thanks for your reply. I'm glad developers are working on this feature, as it's quite important to me. Even as recent as a couple weeks ago, the Projections feature wasn't showing on my Cash Flow graph. I love seeing the graph of real numbers, but not the predictions. Thank you.
We don't want to turn off the cash flow graph on the dashboard. We want to turn off the future cash projections. The projections are not even remotely accurate and interfere with seeing the real cash position.
Thanks for joining us today, @healthyhomesvirg.
I have some information about the cash flow graph. The graph and projections are part of the Cash Flow Dashboard Widget. Thus, disabling one of these isn't possible.
You can learn more about the importance of the new cash flow dashboard report at this link here: What’s new in QuickBooks Online – May 2020.

Hi - Did you figure out a way to do this? Such an annoying feature!
Providing the best experience with the product is what we aim for, lightningbuginc.
The graph and projections are part of the Cash Flow Dashboard Widget. The option to disable the cash flow planneris unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To learn more about the importance of the new cash flow dashboard report, see the What’s new in QuickBooks Online – May 2020 article. We recommend submitting product suggestions to our engineers about this one by following these steps:

SOLUTION:
This doesn't work. Spent two days inputting all my standing orders, expected income etc... deleted all predictions... a few days later predictions have started appearing again!!!!!
Very annoying. Each month I show growth to my company, but the projected income shows a negative. We are a season company, due to cold weather.... I do not care what some months may project, I just want to see my current. I understand the need for projected based on some kind of algorithm... but some companies do not work the same way as others. I'd love to see actual sales income, and expenses per actual month.
I mean, should be easy to deactivate this "feature"?
I couldn't agree more. The predictive transactions just don't work. They aren't even remotely accurate. I can predict my in and out flows much better. Please quickbooks.... just turn off the predictive transactions. This is a horrible feature.
We recognize the urgency to manage predictions in your QuickBooks Online company file dashboard, @fosterjim.
I want you to know that the features and updates in the program are released based on several factors. We're unable to provide the details or the turnaround time on when new features are released in QuickBooks, since this is handled by the Developers Team internally.
Please know that you can share your suggestion within the program by following these steps in a web browser:

Everyone on this thread, including myself, would like to be able to turn off the "predicted" cash flows in the planner.
The graph is great and this widget is exactly what I'm looking for but having a seasonal business the predictive algorithms do not work. These predictive algorithms really will only work for a small percentage of businesses.
It seems crazy that this was not built as a toggle.
Thank you.
Have they fixed this terrible feature yet? I am with everyone on here that it is terrible and not even close to accurate
Thanks for requesting some updates here in the QuickBooks Community, @KHC Eviro.
We recognize the need to update the Dashboard view display. At the moment, our engineers haven't released an update on when this feature will be available in the program.
Before our developers release product updates, they usually go through a wide range of feedback. They wanted to provide thorough and purposeful enhancement releases to make our program efficient to use.
Please know that our engineers are working hard toward this goal, but we can't provide the turnaround time since they are working on this internally. If there are new updates for QBO, they will be communicated through in-product ads.

I have started using Quickbooks for my new business and the predictive cashflow items are ruining my planning as they are inaccurate and generate again done I log back in.
Fortunately its still early using the software and I can move across to a different system but its a shame as overall quickbooks is a good system.
"...quickbooks is a good system."
Is it though? We've used QuickBooks (and now QBO) for years and it keeps getting worse: helpful features disappear and unwanted, unhelpful, inaccurate features keep appearing along increasingly desperate and intrusive ads for more even unwanted features.
