Buy nowWe have a BOA parent acct with 12 cards subdivided. How do you get 12 different feeds into QBO?
Hi there, Jim. Before you connect to online banking, check how your bank sends downloaded transactions. If all transactions go to one account, connect just the parent account. If transactions go to individual accounts, connect the subaccounts instead of the parent account.
Note: You can’t connect both a parent account and its subaccounts. If you try to connect both, you’ll get a message that the account is already connected.

The issue is that I cannot see the 12 child credit card accounts, only the one Parent account to link to.
Hi, Jim. Since your twelve credit card accounts aren’t showing up when you connect them to QBO, it may be due to the bank’s setup, which only exposes certain accounts or sends transactions through the main/top-level account instead of each sub-account.
To clarify how this works on their side, I recommend reaching out to Bank of America’s support team so they can explain how they send transactions for those cards to QuickBooks and whether each sub‑account can be connected individually.
Once you have that information, you can refer to this article for more details on the process: Set up CC sub accounts.
