Let me share some information, Timkgray.
When you enter the information, it will double the income. You don't have to input the 1099 information in your tax return. Sending the tax info to TurboTax from QuickBooks Self-Employed will do the trick. The process prevents data entry errors.
Also, I suggest reaching out to your accountant or tax adviser to ensure the accuracy of your tax return before you file it.
If there's anything else that you need, please don't hesitate to let us know. We're around to help you. Take care!

Hello, I am experiencing the same issue ..... if I do a transfer from quickbooks it lumps all the $'s into one category ( "other self employed income) and does not list each of the 1099 companies ...... what am i doing wrong because the category that it transfers to is a category NOT for 1099-c's
Thanks
that should have been 1099 nec not 1099c
I help you deal in ensuring the information will be allocated to the correct category, @Camliondro.
When transferring the data from QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) to TurboTax, I'd recommend double-checking the information to ensure it imports correctly. You can review them in TurboTax:
For your reference, please proceed to Step 3 of this article: Send QuickBooks Self-Employed tax info to TurboTax Self-Employed or Live.
Just in case there is info that requires correction or adjustment, I'd recommend reaching out to the TurboTax support team for assistance.
Once everything is fine, you'll want to visit this article to guide you in filing 1099-NEC using TurboTax: How to File Taxes with IRS Form 1099-NEC.
I'm always ready to lend a hand if you have any other questions about transferring data from QBSE to TurboTax. Feel free to post again here. Have a good one.
